I focused my Bachelors degree in the study of Management and went into the Air Force a couple of years after college. During that time I also earned my MBA in Management and worked in logistics jobs managing people and budgets. I completed a 20 year career with the Air Force. After nine years as a defense contractor, I worked two years as an assistant in a CPA firm then left and began

developing my own bookkeeping and tax preparation business. I have proudly served the Newport News and Hampton Road region for 14 years.

I am originally from Alabama. I lived in various locations in the United States and overseas when I was serving in the Air Force. We had an assignment at Langley AFB in the late 1990's and loved the Yorktown area and the schools. I did have to move one more time, but on retirement we decided Yorktown would be our true home and we have lived here for over 22 years.

My definition is simple: define the goals you want to accomplish and apply your gifts and knowledge to work at the goals each day. There is often failure in the process, but learn from the failure and continue growing and learning.

As a dedicated Christian husband, father and grandfather instilling the highest values and hope to my family. I also hope that my clients see that I am applying those same values in my daily conduct in my business.

I have a wonderful family and really love my grandchildren. I have a great church family as well and enjoy helping others and growing in my Christian faith. Finally, I am thankful that my business has been successful over the past few years.
